Wine that tastes of the sea

Wine that tastes of the sea

B01 39 Km 54€ per person
Starting points

Temple of Segesta (parking area almost at the entrance)

It starts from one of the most visited sites in Sicily to get lost in the countryside of the Trapani hinterland. With the vineyards as the main highlight, we will reach the ruins of the Serramarrocco baglio. From here the view sweeps to the Egadi Islands and the Montagna Grande woods, a forest area rich in eucalyptus, pines and cypresses between Lake Rubino and the village of Vita. Leaving Serramarrocco baglio, we will pedal towards the Vito Gioia winery to taste his “wine that tastes of the sea". We will return to the Temple of Segesta from a provincial road that crosses the countryside.
