Breakfast and off we go. Over roads bordered by woods, we will reach the Temple of Segesta where we can stop to breathe and reflect on time, which here seems to paint the beauty of nature. We will continue following the rows of vineyards and the contours of Montagna Grande among flocks, roosters and chickens that will take us back to a time of which few memories remain, until we reach the ruins of the Serramarrocco baglio. Soon the rural landscape will give way to the sea, with other colours and other scents. In Fulgatore, we will reverse the route to immerse ourselves in a sparsely inhabited agricultural area. We will then stop in Ummari at Vito Gioia's winery to discover if the grapes, all strictly autochthonous, that Vito grows really express a "wine that tastes of the sea". We will return to Castellammare along a state road with little traffic.
