This tour will take us on a ride through an area with a great vocation for winegrowing up to an ancient and majestic baglio, now in ruins, surrounded by vineyards. On the road back, which runs parallel to an old, abandoned railway, we will reach the Vito Gioia winery where we can taste wines produced from ancient grapevines that Vito lovingly tends to, convinced, just like us, that they are a heritage to be preserved. His wines definitely prove him right. From the winery we will head back to Contrada San Giovanni passing through the town of Vita and the Baronia woods.
