Through a mythical countryside shaped by the centuries, we will reach Vita, the smallest municipality in the province of Trapani and, after Erice, the second highest. Here, you can visit the old village, unchanged since the night of the earthquake of 1968. Leaving Vita, we will reach the Baronia woods, spanning an area of almost 67 hectares and reaching a maximum height of 630 metres, which afford a marvellous view. Inside, besides areas for picnics, hiking and mountain biking trails, there are still the "nivieri", concave constructions shaped like an inverted cone used in the past to collect the snow and use the water in the summer when it was lacking. From the woods we will return to Castellammare.
