We’ll start from Trapani heading north, with the crystal-clear sea of Trapani to our left. Past the old Tonnara Bonagia (almaḍraba), we will come to Cornino and the beach at the foot of Mount Cofano, a dolomite massif covered in many parts with the classic Mediterranean vegetation, dwarf palms and especially "disa". Once we reach Mount Cofano Reserve, we will visit the Mangiapane cave where traces of prehistoric settlements have been found; unfortunately, the path is not cyclable, thus preventing us from reaching the tonnara’s sixteenth-century tower. Leaving the Reserve, we will head straight to Castelluzzo to refresh ourselves with the delicacies prepared by Anna at the Anna Pinco Restaurant. The return will take inland roads that connect again with the provincial road that runs along the sea.
