Starting point
Alcamo (Mio Mercato, Via Madonna del riposo)
This tour will take us from the upper Belice Valley to the lower Belice Valley pedalling south on State Road 119. From Alcamo we will reach Gibellina Vecchia and the Grande Cretto, an imposing work of art created by the artist Alberto Burri to commemorate the earthquake of 1968. The return to Alcamo will see us pedalling in the countryside of the Belice hinterland.
